My Upcoming Art Exhibition "Our Golden Thread" in St Andrews!
I have some fantastic updates to share with you all! If you’ve been following my work, you’ll know that I’ve been planning a long-awaited art exhibition showcasing my most recent body of work. Well, the wait is over—I finally have the dates and details for you!
My exhibition, titled "Our Golden Thread," will take place in St Andrews from Saturday, May 3rd to Monday, May 5th. If you're on my mailing list, you should have already received an invitation to the private view on Friday, May 2nd, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. This exhibition is particularly special for me—it marks 10 years since my first solo show in St Andrews. To celebrate, I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone in more ways than one. Not only have I created a 31-page glossy art catalogue featuring the exhibition (available for £12), but I’m also challenging myself in a big way—I’ll be hosting an art talk and demonstration on Saturday, May 3rd, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM.
I’ll be honest—talking about my work isn’t something that comes naturally to me. But I’m daring myself to do it, to grow, and to share more of my creative journey with you. During the talk, I’ll discuss my artistic process, the inspiration behind this exhibition, and, as an extra treat, I’ll also do a short cyanotype demonstration, a technique I’ve recently fallen in love with. The catalogue will be included in the ticket price for those attending.
