Journey through the garden
This brand new collection of work was created throughout 2019 and 2020. The collection is titled, "Journey through the garden". The art is woven with symbolism exploring life, hope, peace and joy through life's ups and downs and the connection to the unseen. I use the symbolism of the garden to represent the spirit and the emotions of the human journey.
This collection has 4 seasons, starting in Autumn through to Summer.
For a garden to flourish through the seasons it needs care, warmth, light, good soil, time and a caring gardener willing to tend it with kindness. In periods of darkness and winter we need hope of a fruitful Spring and Summer. The light represents the ever present love of God bringing life to our circumstances and causing our garden to flourish.
