I have some exciting news to share with you. I can now reveal that two of my paintings will be printed in a book all the way in Uganda! A Ugandan author called Julius Matege is having a book published called Noble Tears. It explores what it means to suffer with Chirst and is based on a lot of his own experience and draws references from the Bible. An artist friend of mine, Laurence Reid got in touch with me concerning the project. He was set the task to create black and white images illustrating the main points. He kindly remebered some of my work and thought the chosen images would work well. Julius agreed.
My painting called "Restoration process" will be the front cover and will be in full colour.
Then another painting of mine called " Show me your face" will be in black and white in the book.
The book will soon be at the printers. What a great opportunity!
About 3-4 years ago, one of my paintings called "Enter His rest" was printed onto a large glass window for a church in Sweden. Does this mean I can call myself an international artist now? Or is that just being a tad pretentious?
