Upcoming exhibition

Hello lovely people! Today is my last day of isolation after being struck down by Covid. I am definitely feeling more myself and am looking forward to getting back into the world. I have been busy behind the scenes completing work for my upcoming exhibition which I want to invite all you lovely people to. All of the work is brand spanking new and has been created over the last year and half. The exhibition will be called “Even the small things are known” and explores purpose and belonging in a world where so many people feel disconnected and alone. I am hoping to have a private viewing on Friday the 29th April at 6pm in my car port in Brunton, Fife. Then the exhibition will continue from Saturday April 30th to Monday May 2nd. The exhibition will also go LIVE on my website on the Saturday. So for those of you who love my art and want “first dibs”, the private view is for you!

Another thing that I am excited about is that I have created 30 eggs. Inside each egg is a small handmade book with a photo of one of my paintings. These eggs will be hidden in and around Fife or even further afield over the month of April, in the run up to the exhibition. About 2 years ago, someone advertised free plastic eggs as they were going to through them away, I knew instantly that I could put them to use and repurpose them. So I will be creating a treasure hunt. Here is a little video so you can visualise what I made.

I will also have new cards available to buy with the star of the show,“The wee mouse”.

So please make sure you add these dates to your diary, and I really look forward to seeing you there. In the meantime, you can follow updates on Facebook and Instagram by going to Jaclyn Stuart Art.

Stay healthy and I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Love Jaclyn xx
